Stayed one night to visit local show and was a superb location. Room was a good size and nice and clean and quiet as its set back from the road, Being close to the airport was not a problem. Evening meal was superb and good value for money. All in all you would be hard pressed to find anything else... More

Stayed recently at the Oak, Baginton for the third time. It is a very popular pub with the locals and is always very busy at the weekends. The Oak is very dog friendly which is why we choose to stay here when we attend dog shows and fancy making a weekend of it. We like to sit outside if the... More

The food is fine and I would say typical for a pub. Nothing really to complain about. It was really nice to be able to sit inside and eat with are 2 dogs. Very dog friendly. Nice comfy arm chairs available but it's quite difficult to eat when you use them. It appears to get quite busy at the weekend.

10 of us from work went here for lunch on Monday 17th April. I phoned and reserved and table and pre-ordered the food. There is a huge selection of dishes on the menu, something for all tastes. We all ended up ordering from the 2 for £12 selection. We arrived and were served drinks immediately by friendly bar staff. We... More

Although the building is nice, the attitude of the staff and certainly the owners left a lot to be desired. They were rude and disrespectful and seemed to almost have an obsession with adding unordered items to the bill - really not what you would expect from a cutomer based business. The food is ok, although nothing to write home... More

We have become semi-frequent visitors to this pub, visiting approx. once a month for lunch. We usually go with family and always have good food and good service. Yesterday we went with friends in the evening and all four of us loved it. There was a little bit of delay being served when we arrived as there were a group... More

The oak is in Bagginton village about 15 minute taxi (10 pounds) from the university of Warwick. It is definitely not a "short" distance from the Uni: as advertised. Positive impressions : A quaint old village pub serving reasonably priced food and drinks. The rooms are in an annexe behind the pub. Accomodation standards are what you would expect in... More

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but the room was very worn with patches in the walls. No proper shower so had to hold it myself, broken toilet seat, and worst of all, the place is just absolutely freezing! Waited 15 minutes to sit for breakfast, none of the tables were set even though you're asked to specify... More
