I'm working my way around the rooms in the Inn and courtyard as I visit here about 2/3 times per year. I've stayed in Rooms 1 & 2 which were good but this time chose room 3 which was not good. Tthe bed was hard, the mattress did not fit to the edge, it creaked loudly and was very uncomfortable.... More

Have just returned to our hotel after eating here just 20 minutes ago! Generally rubbish place, but here's a few things that stick out: - arrived at 1945 and waited till 2045 for our starters (bread mix & calamari). My boss and I dine here when we have our quarterly "Take your PA out to dinner because she's fab" dinner and each time we love it. I love the dark, quiet nature of the restaurant, very intimate even though you are really close to the table next to you, we never feel like we have to speak in hushed... More

Took the inlaw's for sunday lunch, had the best lamb shank ever, other than that good all round pub honest prices. More

Stayed last frid and sat 17 th and 18th fed Had a great time .meals on both nights were great although had to have early dinner on sat night at 6pm as fully booked.very busy .third time staying and will not be the last. Could do with better bed More
