If you searched the world to find a better establishment it would be in vain. This brilliantly run bed and breakfast had me wanting to stay forever. In fact I look forward to my next 12000 miles plane journey from New Zealand just to have a few days in Barnacle Halls stunning environment. This I might add is understated. More

Stayed here with our son on the eve of moving him into Coventry Uni. Decided against staying in one of the city centre chain hotels in favour of some thing a little different. Only ten mins drive from city centre. The interior is incredible, lovely old beams beautiful windows and a wonderful hostess. Breakfast was very good too. Can thoroughly... More

Barnacle Hall is one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed at. The property itself is exquisite - a beautifully restored farm house - and the room was the biggest we have seen. Everything is very modern, but without spoiling the charm and historic nature of the property. Being a farmhouse, it's a mile or so to the nearest... More

Having lived in the village of Barnacle for 27 years up until 2006 I had never had cause to go to Barnacle Hall despite knowing something of its history. But when we needed overnight accommodation to attend a party in the village hall and our friends in the village were double booked we immediately took the opportunity to stay with... More

In a quiet rural location with just the lambs baaing in the back ground it's really very peaceful. The owners are extremely nice poeple. The property is idyllic with wonderful rooms. The only small niggle is that my room didn't have a shower but in these surroundings my first use of a bath for a couple of decades was a... More

I've just returned from spending two nights at Barnacle Hall and I suppose my comment would be 'wow'! The house is spectacular if you like your historic buildings, rather than the bland hotel chains, and you feel as though you are being wrapped in its arms once you are inside. The oak beams and polished wood, combined with the lovely... More
