To cheap I thought. I arrived at 2005hrs. Too late but the receptionist was happy to let me in. The room was basic. It was clean, tidy and had all I needed including warmth. Also it was quiet. For the price exceptional. More

Convenient location whilst we stayed overnight at the Premier Inn. Also near a few supermarket, McDonalds and TGI Friday. Good service provided by friendly staff. A variety of meal deals were available at very reasonable prices i.e. 2 meals for £10. We opted for a fish feast £8.79 each which was enormous and tasty. Free wifi access and Sky television... More

The hotel has just had the rooms refurbished, mine was decorated well and bed was really comfortable and there were no issues with the shower. Free WiFi worked well in the rooms and the pub next door. I ate twice in the pub and on both nights the food was good, hot and not too fussy. staff good, very happy... More

Looks ok from the ouside but not so good from the inside. The reception closes at 8 pm and the guest have to open the reception door with a key, so this looks like more a guest house than a hotel. The staff it's friendly, not complaints about it. The furniture it's old fashion and the illumination it's a bit... More

Stayed last night for New Years Eve. £45 for room which we think was great value. Rooms very nice but bed was past it's best to say the least! It was so soft and bouncy it felt like we were on a trampoline and our feet were higher than our heads! Shower wasn't great either, not much pressure! Party night... More

We had a comfortable night's sleep at the Cocked Hat. The rooms are a bit tired and the shower did not work in one room. Our rooms were not made up during the day and staff at breakfast didn't seem happy to see us. The restaurant was good value. More

Stayed for one night before a weekend break in Birmingham. Ideal location, however don't use google maps as it sends you off in the wrong direction. Hotel is third left off roundabout next to Morrisons,TGI Fridays, so lots of eating/drinking places around, the Two for One pub attached can be recommended, staff in there were lovely and food excellent. Room... More

This is a newly refurbished setup and was excellent value at £39 for the night, with breakfast an additional £6 odd. Warm, comfy, all mod cons and also seems to be an ideal spot for business meetings with breakout rooms and free wifi facilities. In warmer months guests can use secluded courtyard tables outside. We were in Coventry for a wedding and needed to find somewhere that was easily accessible from the motorway, but also close to town. Found The Cocked Hat on late rooms, paid £30 per night for a double room. It was nothing really special but adequate for the price. We ate in the restaurant next door twice, it is a... More
