This is not a hotel I would pick for a romantic getaway. However for business purposes it is perfect. The room is big enough, the bed and bed linen very comfy. The staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is very central to some good shops (huge TK MAXX ladies) The health suite offers massages, waxing etc. If you know you... More

I have stayed at this hotel on at least 5 occasions over the past 5 years and always feel the same way upon leaving - a good, solid hotel but will never be in my "top ten". The positives include the "on-site" secure(ish) charged parking - very handy to be so close to the car. Another positive is the leisure... More

Stayed here for a weekend away and it was lovely. The staff were all very friendly and our room although a little small did the job. We had dinner the first evening which was lovely, menu was great (chicken here is halal). I had a creme brulee for desert and it was lovely (one of the best ive had even... More

I reserved this hotel online weeks ago, as it was close to where I was working the following day. Although the hotel isn't that old (a conversion from an office building around the turn of the century) the carpets appeared to be from the 1970s, and the interior fitting on the elevator wasn't much younger. The rooms are small, and... More

I have just experienced a spa day and my facial was one of the best I have ever had. The staff were very professional and polite. I have had a number of treatments at various hotels and this really can be recommended.

I am a regular and have reccomended many of my friends to the Spa at the Marriott. I work all week and have children, so it is lovely to escape for a few hours from my hectic lifestyle. One of the reasson I enjoy this spa is because of the lively and professional atmosphere. As with regards to the comment... More

I was supposed to have a 55min full body Swedish massage by a therapist - Vinay, at the spa.The treatment I received was actually for 40-45mins rather than the 55mins I paid for.And when I complained about this at the reception, the way this therapist handled it was appalling. She was defensive and rude and basically just stormed off when I said... Just thought I would review the Red Letter Day experience thingy that I used at the weekend! It was all fantastic, the staff were excellent, the room amazing and the breakfast was top notch! I was that impressed I am going to do it again for the Christmas Markets!

Absolutely fantastic hotel in a great location. The staff in this hotel were more than helpful, and very welcoming and happy. The chap called Des who seems to be floating around assisiting all, was always happy to help with bags, questions, ect. Our room was spotless with a more than comfortable bed, a lovely relaxing bathroom too. The breakfast was... More
