Stayed here on 20th October 2012. First impression was that it was pretty basic but was greeted by a friendly gentleman so didn't seem so bad. They advised that they had a party on that would go on until 1am, which was fine as we would just be getting back around that time from our own party. However we didn't... More

I booked a twin room for two colleagues who were coming up to Birmingham for a training event. The location was the motivation as this 'hotel' is situated just off the m42. The whole thing just turned out exceptionally embarrassing. My two colleagues, who are kind and polite to the enth degree felt they had no option but to complain,... More

Booked in for 2 nights, but never again. Room was dirty, shower curtain filthy, very poorly lit, mattress too small for the bed ( 4 poster king size), bed stinking, had to wrap pillows in bath towels before we could sleep in them. Pillows, mattress and covers were all badly stained. Carpets were sticky when you walked on them. Lamp... More

We booked two rooms at this hotel as it was convenient for a family wedding but I so wish I had gone to a Premier Inn or similar. Our first impression was not good as we were taken up to our rooms, only to find that neither of them had been cleaned after the previous occupants. We waited in a... More

We travelled for 5 hours in a car with no air con on the hottest day of the year to be told that there was no booking recorded for us despite having booked several weeks in advance and ringing the day before we travelled to confirm. The Receptionist seemed embarrassed, he found us a room and reduced the charge after... More

Don't be deterred by the modest cost of this hotel. Its actually very friendly and comfortable with good food and WiFi too. Ok, there's no mini-bar, but there is a lively bar downstairs. Its a few miles out of town and not well-served by public transport, but good if you have your own as its in pleasant countryside just off... More

I stayed here in March 2012 as I was working close by and it was the nearest hotel that came up on the search. The person I spoke to was friendly and the booking was a no-nonsense affair. I was quoted £32 for the night, including breakfast. On reaching the hotel, it seemed a pleasant enough place and the chap... More
