I have no problems with this hotel for the money - we were on a girls weekend away and wanted some cheap accommodation in Birmingham. Short walk to New Street station ( well, perhaps 20 minutes - but you do pass about 5 pubs to break up the walk!!) - The bar stayed open for us after we had returned... More

I was booked in here for a few days on business on 15-16th May and after reading some of the reports I was very apprehensive. but I must say that I found the accommodation to be pretty good, everything was clean and well presented, the breakfast was ok... my only complaint would be that the bread for the breakfast was... I regret the 2 nights of my life which were wasted here, and the danger i put myself in. This hotel isn't even on Newhall Street-how can you name a hotel Travelodge Newhall Street if it's not on Newhall Street?! Here are a few highlights of my stay-im too traumatised to mention everything. Tried to check in at 2.55, 5... More

After reading the reviews of this hotel, I was very worried about staying here. I usually stay at the Bull Ring Travelodge but got a good deal on the room rate here. I was greeted by a polite member of staff who informed me where to park outside for free after 6pm and also explained that they offered a discounted... More

This hotel was unacceptable. They only provided one towel for the family room and after requesting towels twice and waiting for two hours, no towels were ever brought. Also, the iron ruined a shirt and I was told I would be contacted by the manager and never was despite several visits to the front desk to request resolution of the... More

Stayed at travelodge for a business trip in April and would strongly recommend everyone to look elsewhere for accomodation in Birmingham!! Room was so so, bed (with stains on the duvet cover) only 1 spare pillow, blinds on window (which were too small for the window for a start!) didn't even have a string so had to manually fight to... We stayed at the Newhall St. Travelodge for 2 nights on 6th & 7th April. Have to say what a dismal experience it was. The room we were given did not have adequate cover at the window, the wall mirror had a dangerous crack in it and the shower controls were damaged. After a short while we were moved to... More

Stayed on a Sunday last, 1st April, prior to going to the NIA. Check-in smooth and easy. Very helpful receptionist who not only advised about meter parking outside which is free on a Sunday and after 6.00 p.m. on any other day as well as providing a discount card for nearby NCP. We chose the former option paying late on... More
