After a busy day of being a tourist, a nice hot shower is one of those things that are much anticipated. You will not get a nice hot shower at this place. After about 10 seconds there was no water dispensed from the shower head. I can tolerate the place being a slightly shabby. It ,has a Faulty Towers sort...

Twice I walked to the door but returned immediately to ask Stuart another question and he was already back watching TV with some other people- didn't show any interest. We were dissapointed with this accommodation. The room was very small but had a big bathroom.
The bedroom hadn't been cleaned as there were potatoe crisps on the floor. The bathroom...

The location is good just 2 mins walk over the river into the town but the whole place needs a good clean, if it wasn't for the new folded towels on the bed when we arrived I would have thought they hadn't cleaned our room (toothpaste on the basin, peeling wallpaper, dust and cobweb's everywhere) I didn't have a shower...

We stayed in Stratford for one night and the great thing about Craig Cleeve was that it took bookings for single nights (as most B&B's have a 2 night minimum policy- and we didnt want to stay for 2 nights). It is in a great location with sufficient parking- It is a 5 minute walk from the RSC theatre and...

We were booked to stay in another hotel in Stratford, but they lost our booking - as it was May Bank Holiday most other hotels were fully booked. However, we found Craig Cleeve who had a room for us!
The room was clean, overlooking the quiet main road, the bathroom was basic - but again clean and nice! We were...

We have stayed at the Craig Cleeve well over 20 times over the last four years. Stuart and Julie are the perfect hosts and a lovely couple. Rooms comfortable and breakfast excellent and only a 5 min walk from the town centre.
An excellent private hotel close to the town centre and theatre.
Adequate parking in a very busy county town is a real plus;the welcome is lovely, the rooms well appointed and the breakfasts (both service and content) are beyond reproach (perfect poached eggs are not as easy to find as they ought to be - but they are here).
The owner...

I booked this B&B over the phone at the last minute, not having had a look at their website or been able to compare it with any other in the area. It's located literally 5 minutes (walk) from the centre of town. I too was greeted by a teenage boy and shown to a room on the ground floor. The...
