Stayed here when visiting relatives. Its in a lovely position and the parking is good but my room was very small and although clean the place did have a strange smell about it. The dining room and the lounge were lovely and with new carpets and ditching the woodchip wallpaper the place would be transformed. The owners were a bit... More

Contrary to some of the other views here my husband and I have just returned from a great weekend in Kenilworth and surrounding areas and found this guest house to be exactly what we needed for a short stay in the area. We found the owners to be extremely friendly and helpful and although the room was not huge it... More

Dismal b&b, unfriendly owners, a double room which had 12 inches around the bed literally, a 2ft by 6th bathroom. Smallest shower I've ever been in, Fruit in room was about 4 weeks out of date. Place smelled like an old peoples home. Gives b&b's a bad name - worst room I've ever stayed in in my life ! But... More

I would echo the comments made earlier about the small rooms and poor attitude of the owners. We arrived early and decided to see if we could check in early. Every family run hotel /guest house that i have visited have been happy to assist if the room is ready or at the very least , allow bags to be... More

I had a one night stay in a single room this week at the Castle Laurels. The location is ideal for the castle and is only a 10 minute walk from the town. The room was poky and you had to lift the duvet cover to shut the door. It was nicely decorated but there was dust on the skirting... More

Stayed here for 1 night - great location just across the road from the Castle and with a couple of decent pubs within walking distance up the road. Breakfast was good and I liked the little fridge with bottled water and fresh milk available (makes a very nice change from the usual UHT). However I didn't feel it was value... More

We stayed here as part of a weekend away, the b&b is in a great location for exploring kenilworth or warwick castle. The room we had was very small but it had a nice comfy bed and the moveable tv was very good, The bathroom was tiny and although I know this is just the size of the room i... More

This was our second visit to the Castle Laurels, having stayed there in 2010. We chose the guest house because three of our party were taking part in the Two Castles Run which finished in the grounds of the castle opposite. This made it very convenient for the older members of our group and for those taking part. The previous... More

Stayed for one night to attend a Prodrive track day to drive supercars, just a few miles away.On arrival hosts were welcoming and very helpful, giving us a map and directions to the racetrack, and also ideas where to eat and drink in the evening.Looks like there is a good selection on the nearby main street in Kenilworth.Clean and comfortable rooms, with a freshly... We attended an exhibition show in NEC and stayed at Castle Laurels guest house, it was extremely nice stay and so convenient to everywhere!! We visited the Warwick Castle and Kenilworth Castle after attending the show and decided to extend our stay for one more night to visit William Shakespeare's birth place in Stratford-upon-Avon. The hotel itself has unique characters... More
