Where to start, this could be the worse hostel i have ever stayed in. We didn’t expect too much as i have read some other reviews and we knew we were booking just for a bed. We arrived at night and the staff were extremely rude and didn’t what to answer any questions. We gave a deposit and asked for... More

"I'm sorry there was an issue with your room. We try to keep everything ship-shape but sometimes previous guests don't respect our property" The hygiene of the rooms we take seriously, they are cleaned after every guest. We endevour to repair damages as soon as we can, and if dangerous in any way we close the room down until repairs... More

The issue with this booking was that they had booked the wrong dates. Any fees charged or refunded are always explained in our booking conditions. More

Whatever you do, don't stay at Heroes. We paid £32 per person per night, for a ten-bed dorm. The room stank, as though the drains went off several years ago and had never been cleaned. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and the pillows were so thin as to be completely useless. All this would just about acceptable at, say, a... More

Other visitors can litter the hallways which we clean during the day, any disturbance you should report to the Police, staff cannot be involved. You can stay at... More

Where do I start? You are welcomed by a chip shop!! At 3am after a night out that is fabulous but we were checking in at 3pm?We were checked in by somebody working behind the chip shop, so his job title is very diverse to say the least. However he was friendly, polite and tried to direct us the best... More

Sorry you did not enjoy your stay at Heroes. You have given mixed views, we have to use the entrance through the Takeaway to the Hotel at weekends for security reasons otherwise drunks would use the front door entrance. You could have requested extra blankets and had your heater replaced we do have spare ones. The beds are advertised as... More

We booked this hotel very last minute when we decided to go for a night out in Newcastle. It is in a great location right in the city centre. It is also right above a fish & chip shop which was great for after our night at Florita's bar - chips at 3am are always good. We had a room... More

It was clean, with fresh bedding and that's all we wanted. The shower worked and the toilet flushed! The staff were very... More

We booked this for a hen party. The location of the HOSTEL (definately not a hotel in any way) is great, but the rooms were awful. The bathroom had not been cleaned, the toilet seat was hanging off. There was a hole in the wall where someone had punched it. You could feel every spring through the mattress. Window ledge... More
