The waterside is a great base for sampling the delights of Newcastle , ten mins from train station and shopping areas. Room was clean and breakfast was very good and staff very helpful , only downside was our tv would not work but a couple of weeks later I receive a letter informing me that I was getting a discount... I was really disappointed with our stay of just one night at the Waterside. Although in a super position, the outside of the hotel is dusty and dirty, probably because it is below three nearby bridges - great views but all the dirt and pollution you would expect if next to busy thoroughfares. The room and beds were clean enough... More

We were a group aged 18-23 and we thought the hotel was great! The room were basic but very clean and the staff were great. The hotel accomadated us greatly by allowing us to drop our luggage off before check-in and keep them after we checked out. This saved us carrying our luggage around which we greatly appreciated. The breakfast... More

This B&B would be perfect for a quick business stop over if it was not for the night club down stairs. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms basic and clean, but the whole thing was let down by the fact I couldn't get to sleep thanks to the noisy night club downstairs. I think I finally got off... More

Stayed one night whilst reviewing Newcastle University, great location could see three bridges from hotel window. Tyne bridge, swing bridge and a n other . Short walk into town. Felt safe out at night but it was a Tuesday night. Asked for fresh milk and additional tea facilities and brought straight away. All staff very helpful. Breakfast excellent and good... More

We stayed here on a Friday night. Took ages to find the car park for the hotel so we rang the hotel for help. The receptionist stayed on the phone and talked us through directions as we drove to it which was a big help. Room was clean and fine for what we needed. No problems with noise and we... More
