Rooms are simple but cosy and comfortable. Main part of the hotel has lots of old pub / coaching inn character and charm. Nestled nicely in the centre of Dorking high street.

Usefully placed old world hotel for Dorking and environs though on High Street and associated traffic noise. Major external refurbishment with mass of scaffolding during my stay but sleep was not disturbed. Did not experience the catering but breakfast appeared pricey.

The bedroom was wonderful and very comfortable. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night and will indeed return in a few months. The food was excellent, always...
