Nice gastropub hotel. Very good location for exploring Suffolk, and the surrounds such as Sutton Hoo which is well worth visiting particularly if you want to brush up your ancient British history. We stayed on the 19th as we were in the area for a wedding. The member of staff that checked us in couldn't have been more helpful. He ordered a cab for us to the reception to arrive 20 mins later to give us time to freshen up and get back down to the bar. Offered help with our bags... More

I stayed for two nights - and will be staying again! Well located with a short walk to restaurants and pubs, thoughtful well appointed, clean accommodation that would score it as a "boutique hotel" anytime. Good breakfast, free wifi and plenty of free car parking. More

Good quality all round but somewhat expensive overall. We had a large room with a z bed for our 12 year old. Down side was the wine bar next door that decided they should have a karaoke night on a Sunday! Still you can't choose your neighbours. Would we stay again? Maybe, just Maybe More
