An excellent hotel in a delightful town, within easy walking distance. The room was spacious and full of character and charm and the hosts went the extra mile to return a forgotten item by post. If I am anywhere near the area again I would detour to stay here. I can fully recommend it to anyone. More

We really liked this place! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were lovely - both the wooden-beamed in the old part of the hotel and the more modern bit at the back. This is a very good hotel just outside the town centre and is easily found from the eastern exit of the A14. My room was a family room and was spotlessly clean. The breakfat was excellent and the friendliness of staff noteworthy. I would definitely stay again. More

The room I had was large and comfortable and I loved the old wooden beams which gave it so much character. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate, the bed very comfortable with all the facilities that you could want. I would be more than happy to stay there again and to reccommend it. More
