Weston Lawn was an absolutely fabulous place to stay during the Early May Bank holiday. My two friends and I stayed in the cottage for two nights and loved it. William and Fiona were always very welcoming and nothing was too much for them. My friend is a coeliac and they arranged an alternative breakfast for her at no extra... More

The location is good - about a half hour walk into Bath, with free on-site (off road) parking. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom. Its not the most welcoming B&B - we never felt particularly comfortable, and the owners seem to be a little rigid about times (arrival time, locking the door at... More

We are pleased that overall our guests enjoyed their time at Weston Lawn but have noted the comments about us being a bit rigid on 'times'. As I mentioned on an earlier review my wife and I try to manage our own time alongside our guests' time but perhaps we need to soften our approach. Our very friendly cat can... More

The house looked pleasant but the gentleman who received us offered rather cold hospitality - a set of rules and regs more or less. It's a place run for the convenience of the owners rather than the guests, with only two hours during the evening in which you are allowed to check in - 5pm till 7pm. Rather expensive use... More

I am very sorry that our guests did not enjoy their time with us and that they found my manner discourteous. I am now more relaxed about asking guests what time they would like breakfast, just pointing out that I do need to know before I go to bed. The cat's behaviour was inexcusable and since reading this review it... More

We stayed with our toddler in the Garden Room, which was ideal if you want a more independent stay. The Garden Room has an external door allowing greater flexibility, particularly good for us with a pushchair. It also has an open plan living room and bedroom, with ensuite bathroom so was ideal to provide space for a travel cot and... More

Doubts were in my mind right from the start when the gentleman of the house did not seem happy with our late arrival time. Flight was delayed first and when we phoned to inform guest house, the lady of the house made it clear that this was an inconvenience. Turned out that our flight was cancelled last minute and we... Its great what you can find on the interent. We stayed in the Cottage in the Gargen of the Weston Lawn guest house. Lovely comfortable and self contained accommodation - just right for a short break. Nice homely and welcoming touches too, and great value for money. Breakfast around a very large dining table in a charming room. Continental breakfast... More

We had a delightful stay in this friendly, B&B last month. The gentleman of the house was charming and we quickly felt very at home in their beautiful house. They kindly took the time to give us their advice on a number of tasks we needed to get done in the local area (florist, laundry, internet). My husband and I... More

I stayed at Weston Lawn Cottage with my 18 year old daughter from 13 to 30 June. We were offered good rates for an extended stay and the owners were very welcoming. The cottage was well equipped and clean - although a microwave would have been useful. The beds were comfortable and the decor tasteful. The owners did everything they... More

As an American, Weston Lawn was everything I hoped for from an English experience. The family who runs the B&B is hospitable and interesting and available to answer any questions about the city of Bath. The house itself and rooms are comfortable and very well appointed. The grounds are also spacious for a B&B. It was great to have the... More

Was very dissappointed with this B&B when we travelled recently with our 1 year old for two nights. While the initial greeting was pleasant our room was quite dirty and the bed very old. Both my husband and I had terrible back pain after two nights sleeping in it. Old bed linen. At one stage asked for some more towels... More

We are naturally very disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay with us. My first response is to say that we wish you had given us some indication of your feelings before you left. You could then have shown us things you referred to in the report. I did ask you when you checked out if everything was OK... More
