My wife and I needed early access to prepare for a wedding. No problems. They could not have been more helpful. We were given a fresh coffee on arrival, and received the warmest welcome. Add this to a clean, pleasant hotel, with a truly excellent breakfast the following day, and you have a hotel which outshines all others of its... More

My children and I started our 3 week UK holiday in beautiful Bath and stayed at Oldfiield's House for 4 nights. We got two wonderful four poster bedrooms at the ground floor, secluded from the rest of the house, with views and direct access to the lovely garden at the back with bird bath and a little reading chair outside... We stayed only for one night after a wedding. They had made sure we had rooms earlier than normal as it was a 2.00 wedding and we were changed and ready for taxis. Lovely rooms and fantastic breakfast. Would be happy to stay again.

This converted mansion now has many comfortable rooms, many with great views over the Avon valley. Rooms are comfortable, although some can only be reached via narrow staircases. Breakfast was outstanding, with many options, including smoked salmon and Cava. Staff is friendly and very helpful with selections of things to do and places to eat. The Oldfields House can be... We stayed in room 14 or 15 an attic room. The room was clean they kindly fitted another single bed into the room but it was incredibly noisy (traffic all night despite closing windows and using ear plugs) and really hot. There was an air conditioning unit but attention wasn't drawn to it. The b&b is more like a hotel... More

We have just spent one night at Oldfields House and were delighted with the choice we had made. The house is well situated for the town centre, only a 10 min walk, although as has been said the walk back is up a fairly long hill. We wouldn't have said it was that steep but then we live in a... I was at Oldfields for just a couple nights.. when i arrived i was really tired and the welcome was so cosy that it made me feel at home. The beds are absolutely perfect, and so are the interiors, very well decored and wonderfully kept. Will surely come back!!

I had booked after reading the positive reviews and I am happy to confirm that we were not dissappointed. Located just a 10 mins walk away from the town centre, they have comfortable rooms, homemade breakfast, very friendly staff... The bathroom, towels, bathrobes and bed sheets were perfectly clean however I wish I had taken with me a pair of... More
