Surprised at location as not quite the 10 minute walk to the center of BATH.Building very run down and small garden overgrown .Sadly shown to an outside annex which we found dark and dingy. Offered a further ground floor room which was also unsuitable .For £80 very disappointing and you can find better value elsewhere in Bath.

The hotel is set in a nice location with views over bath, the staff are really friendly and welcoming, excellent breakfast, our room was warm and cosy and the bed was really comfortable, we couldn't ask for more and would definatly recommend this hotel and would it again

Despite being on a busy hill, we had a very quiet night but we were at the back in the family annexe. the staff were brill, the food delicious and the service top class. we even got a complimentary (help your self) drink of sherry or port!

Our room was very clean and kept clean throughout our stay. We had a massive bathroom with toiletries provided. I was concerned that the room would be cold but it was very cosy.
