Excellent food. Grifffin gold beer worth a try. Very helpful friendly staff going out of their way to make for a very pleasant stay. Great location for walking around central bath. Individual and quirky style.

Compact Inn with delightful staff who were very happy to help. Single room was small but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Lovely fluffy towels.The breakfast was gorgeous, especially the smoked salmon and scarmbled eggs!!! Central location to all amenities. Enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

we stayed at the Griffin Inn for just one night after atrip to the theatre. We arrived at lunchtime and ate inn the bar, the food was good and there were two or three good cask ales. Stayed there last night after wonderful day at thermae spa. Very disappointed at walking through small , very noisey bar up 3 flights stairs, to a small room. The Griffin Inn was a smashing choice for an overnight stay in Bath. The welcome was very friendly, the room spotless and comfortable, the bar food absolutely excellent, and the breakfast very good too. No rooms available here when we needed them, but we set out to find it for a drink anyway, and ended up spending some time there on each of our 4 day break. Four real ales, including Butcombe Bitter and Griffin Gold, relaxed and friendly, great music, newspapers and board games - an ideal public house.
