The soup arrived cold, the 'wedges' were scarcely defrosted, the rolls obviously out of a freezer. The final insult was to be informed that the soup could only be served as part of a set menu and hence we had to either eat a sweet or pay £12 for the bowl of soup. A wretched experience. stayed here for a birthday treat and weekend away. the hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by gorgeous grounds and great views. the rooms are very individually decorated which i really liked the bed was sooo comfy i had a cracking nights sleep. staff very helpful and friendly also breakfast very good would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous food, friendly and extremely helpful staff, a very high standard overall. Would highly recommend.
