After a shocker at Ibis York it was with some trepidation we arrived at the pre-booked sister hotel in Sheffield. Those fears were unfounded and our accommodation, service and quality were back to usual Ibis standards. The parking station is adjacent and the town centre a short walk.

For such a big chain we were very disappointed. Finding the place was the first nightmare. Parking was the second problem. The room was just not up to scratch. Tired and in need of modernising. Stayed here last night with my fiance. The welcome we recieved on reception was lovely. The room and rest of the hotel was spotless. Bar prices reasonable and very personal level of service. Breakfast was good everything hot and fresh - awe inspiring selection. Only downfall was no shower gel in shower and air-con did not appear to be working... More

Stayed in November 2011. There was a group of us celebrating a 30th birthday. One room stank of faeces as did the surrounding corridor which was mighty unpleasant. Staff changed the room with apologies. My room had no shower gel in the distributor, but again soon remedied. Room was tiny but functional, the beds were very like camp beds. Good... More
