I have just attended a 2 day conference at Holiday Inn Sheffield, a beautiful traditional hotel that boasts a beautiful large ornate banquet suite. We stayed here for a weekend to attend a friends wedding.We had a family room for 2 adults and 2 children. Very nice, comfortable and with very friendly service. Only one drawback - network patch in the room was so short, that I was able to connect my notebook only under the table. Wireless was at a premium price, but connection quality was so poor, that I had constant inerruptions. Fair to say that manager friendly removed it from the bill.

Although the railway and station have long gone The Victoria still retains the granduer and tradition that railway hotels used to have. A fine, old building which has been tastefully modernised. Clean and comfortable and a friendly, helpful staff with a superb breakfast too. Will look forward to our next visit here

Had a delightful stay at the Victoria Holiday Inn in sheffield. We were in sheffield for the half marathon and the hotel was perfect. Lovely big adjoining rooms of two adult and two kids. Fantastic breakfast and thanks to Herman the manager (on duty Sunday morning!!!!) for his hospitality. Lovely staff everywhere. We will use again. Thanks.

We loved this grand old railway hotel with fine views of the city and river Don. We only stayed one night and as we were visiting our son, we did not have dinner or breakfast at the hotel. But the room was very comfortable and with the twin beds being two doubles, we had a very comfortable night.
