I stayed at the Novotel for 5 nights and was impressed. Shortly after arriving, at around 8pm Sunday, I was checked in straight away and was asked which floor I would like. Once checked in I went up to my room, the room had a queen sized bed with all the usuals you expect from this kind of hotel; tea/coffee... More

I have stayed in this hotel on several occasions for business. My latest stay was for two nights. Check in was a bit slow but largely a result of several people arriving around the same time. My room was a large double on the 3rd floor at the front of the hotel. It had a separate toilet room just inside... More

When we checked in the girls at the front desk where just wonderful, can't say enough how nice and friendly they were. We had no problems checking in. When we got to our room I was surprised how modern and big the room was. The two twin beds where large, I am tall and my feet did not hang over... More

We stayed here for one night as we were en route to Cornwall from Kent. You can't say much about it other than it serves a purpose. I was surprised it was a 4 star - I would have thought 3 was more realistic. I didn't use the pool etc though. The receptionist was on his own when we arrived... More

Very good hotel in center of reading, with all facilities like Gym, Swimming pool Only thing is not good is parking which needs to be paid, i think this is due to the hotel location which is in center of reading, you have plenty options for food and drink, lot of restaurants and pubs around.

I stopped here with my wife for one night only, the hotel was lovely, clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and we got a lovely view over the city. We would stop here again.

This hotel is very easily reached (in 3 or 4 Minutes on a level route) from Reading Railway Station. Despite being in the busy town, the bedroom was very quiet, reasonably spacious, with good tea/coffee making facilities, easy chairs, a desk and flat-screen television with a good range of UK Freeview channels. Some slight niggles: (1) the en-suite toilet was... More

No frills hotel (apart from a small, shallow swimming small) with a lot of small annoyances. * The rooms are hot with very little ventilation and no air conditioning. * The toilet in the room doesn't have a sink to wash your hands so you have to walk round to shower room. * The hotel insist on charging a deposit... Friendly staff. We had a problem with the key cards not working but this was fixed by maintenance almost immediately. Executive suite was nice and we got free wifi (which I think should be available for all rooms anyway). We didn't use the spa facilities so couldn't comment on this. For an executive suite the room was a tad smaller... More
