My wife and I stayed at this very convenient Travelodge for 2 nights on sunday night 29/04/12 and monday night 30/04/12.This was very convenient for us as we were going to see a show in wembley, London and driving back to the hotel to stay for the night. Following day we wanted to visit Reading and Basingstoke, which made it... More

If you're looking for luxury then a Travelodge at the motorway services is not the place to find it, however if you're looking for a place to stay because it's convenient then this has got to be as good a choice as any. The rooms are pretty average for the price you pay and some can be a little tired.... More

I stayed here with my elderly mother for the weekend, we had disabled rooms which were brilliant. Mother could use the bath without fear. Some of the Travelodges these days are really going downhill, they don't seem to be redecorating them and they look really run down, this one however is nice and clean, no mould around the bath as... We stayed hear over the weekend and as it is a Travelodge and we've stayed in a few now, we didn't expect much. The room was clean enough, but it was very tired looking. The place is in need of some maintenance now. There was not much noise from the motorway and we had a reasonable nights sleep. We tried... More

We stayed here for the night before attending a conference nearby. Having driven up from Plymouth after a full day's work we arrived at 11pm. We were in the annexe and the rooms were normal Travelodge rooms. We were all in family rooms and neither of my colleagues had anything to complain about other than the rooms being hot in... More

It is what it is - a cheap hotel in a service station next to a motorway. As long as you bear this in mind, you will not be disappointed. Room was clean, spacious, no major road noise. Receptionist friendly. Nice big desk in room to do my work, plenty of power points, big double bed and aditional sofa. No... More

Very tired and verging on grubby. Some room fittings resembled poor DIY. Rooms same as any other travel lodge. Basic and functional. Loud motorway noise woke me several times. Furnishings stained but bed sheets and towels clean. Receptin staff frirndly but area tatty and resembled something from a cab firm, torn foam exposed seats. Good points..£35 and booked night before.... More

I stayed at 4 Travelodges while in England... this was the worst one. They are all very bare-bones minimum, but they have family rooms with clean beds and a shower and that's all we're looking for. This Travelodge, however, we could not flush the toilet without filling the tank with water ourselves; probably should have complained but we didn't. Other... More
