Stayed here a few times and generally I find it average to good, however this time I stayed in a single room, the cleanliness has definitely gone downhill. I stayed here for two nights in March 2012' I found it very dated with a 70's feel, the menu is overpriced and the bar food poor, would not go back again.

Easy to find from Reading City Centre, plenty of parking (I arrived about 6pm). Staff on reception very friendly and helpful. Room nice, pretty basic & bathroom could do with an overall, but OK. Lady on desk very pleasent room was clean and tidy. Bathroom was in need of some tlc. Bed was hard and as we are not used to a hard bed it was uncomfortable.
