Great welcome, lovely room with fine decor, quirky gin bar, brilliant three course meal, fantastic al fresco in May, The food is not only good but challenges the taste buds. The Telegraph deal included £40 worth of tickets for Blenheim Palace so terrific value. The main thing is that they actually care and that's a real change!

We booked for the Feathers with a daily Telegraph offer. Nice hotel just a bit dull. Our room was very dark but comfy, clean and warm. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast very good. Evening meal was good but not the kind of food we would want every evening. The hotel is expensive but so are others in the area.

My wife and I booked a room and dinner - paying extra for a 'superior' room. However, on arrival we found we were not to be accommodated in the hotel but were taken to an adjacent cottage, up two steep flights of stairs to a very dark and very chilly attic room (it being a high of only 8ºC that... Our stay started out as a Telegraph Selected deal and we ended up staying an extra night and meeting up with friends. I suspected a bit of funny business because when we tried to book on the deal for the Saturday night, I was told it wasn't available, so booked for the Friday which meant I needed a day's holiday... One of the most unique hotels-restaurants, so quaint and classy in a great location, that it now seems almost surreal in my memory. Excellent hospitality/great food and above all, offers most memorable of times.

We had our wedding reception at this hotel in April 2012, it was a perfect venue for our reception and stay. From the outset the manager Luc Morel couldn't have been more helpful recommending wine, champagne and assisting us with the menu, nothing was too much trouble for him or his staff and also included ordering flowers for the hotel... I wanted somewhere really nice to stay and eat for a get together for a group of my girlfriends. The Feathers was just perfect. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the rooms were gorgeous, the food delicious and the gin tasting an added bonus! Perfect location in the centre of beautiful Woodstock with a Blenhim a short stroll away.... More

Gorgeous hotel with extremely courteous staff who were so helpful and ALWAYS smiling. Room was superb as was our Gin Tasting Session given by Nounou. The 5 course evening meal was fabulous, as was breakfast the next morning. Added bonus was that Blenheim Palace was only a 5 min walk from the hotel. Would definitely recommend, and I will certainly... More

We stayed at the Feathers for an evening whilst at a wedding in the area and weren't disappointed. The staff were friendly, well trained and lovely from reception to the breakfast team and the bar staff, the room was spacious, well decorated and comfortable. The hotel was gorgeous with beautiful decor and a great feeling. If I had to give... More
