Came to Oxford to meet some old friends and this place was near by and looked good. The owners were lovely, showed me to my room, gave me some information about the area and places to eat before I headed out. The room was good, nice and clean. Had a great night sleep after I came back that night, mattress... More

I stayed here last week for one night with a friend. Easy to find and relatively central with good bus connections and parking onsite. Owner is polite but not intrusive. Breakfast was quite simple for vegetarians and could have been better. Cereal, yoghurt, canned fruit and fresh melon available as well as toast and beans and eggs. Showers were a... More

We stayed for one night on Friday 21st March. The Conifers B and B is very clean, very warm and conveniently situated to get frequent buses into Oxford. Check-in was easy and very friendly. Breakfast was very good and varied with cereals, pastries or a choice of hot breakfasts. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent quality B and B.

Around July - August 2012 we made a short visit to England in the course of which we stayed at Conifers,in Headington, Oxford. This Hotel is a cosy and neat place. Service was very good, breakfast quite elaborate and the Owners helpful. We used this place as a base to visit other places around and found it very convenient. Recommended... More

We stayed overnight recently while visiting family in Oxford and found the Confiers after many other choices fully booked. Were allocated a Double Room in the attic up two steep flights of stairs and found romm quite small but clean and warm. Bathroom seemed quite modern with shower (no bath) looking new. Upper floor rooms have a water pump that... More

Didn't see the owner when first arrived as keys were in security box on wall outside front door, suite me as I can't stand chit chat when I've been at work all day, room 5 is a double with ensuite, heating on ( bonus in a b&b) flat screen tele, mashing stuff. Room is tired but clean, same with the... More

what can I say. It is a b and b. It is clean and tidy the only to minor faults I can say about it is if you have a room at the front the road is very noisy but then againI don't suppose they can do anything about that. The other thing is there is no free wifi I... More

Our room was booked for us by a friend who had no personal experience of The Conifers. My husband and I stayed just one night, and were allocated 2 single rooms as no double was available. The welcome (by temporary hosts) was friendly and the service at breakfast was attentive, the beds were comfortable and the premises very clean. However,... More

Stayed here whilst attending an event in Oxford. Accommodation is fine, nothing special but ok for a short stay. All very clean and rooms were an acceptable size. The owners were not particularly friendly but nothing bad either. Breakfast was fine if a little disorganised with tables allocated to rooms leaving no space for us when we came down. It... More

We stayed 2 nights in the family room annex in the back. The room was fine, amenities were good, everything clean, breakfast was nice, all this is why I gave a rating of 2. However, when we returned from being out all day, there was a note left to pay that evening "as Sunday mornings are very busy." This was... More

I was saddened by the fabrication of this review. Family room for four adults was offered at £130/- per night on receipt of an on line inquiry. Rate was accepted by the guest and credit card details provided to confirm reservation. When the guest came to pay, she produced a printed page with £120/- rate written on it, hence I... More
