We stayed here for 2 nights as we went to whipsnade zoo. The room was very basic but it had everything you needed and it was clean. As usual the bed at Travelodge are terrible, really springy, slope downwards and you roll together if 2 f you are in the bed. Im glad I took my own pillows!! It's in... More

Despite what website says there was no coffee and tea facilities in a room, internet cost £5.00 per hour. What’s the point advertising all those things when they actually not available Highly disappointed

We paid £64.00 for a family room for 2 guests, unfortunately we were unable to check in early and had a wedding to attend so we left the bags in the car, retunring in the early hours. Numbed by wine, it was only on waking that the smell of the room hit me. Really strange damp smell and glad I... More

You often get what you pay for but I thought £60 for a night's stay to be a bit steep for this family room. The hotel and room was very basic. Bed was quite uncomfortable due to there being a plastic sheet under the cotton sheet. Pillow was non-existent and we only noticed belatedly that more pillows were available from... More

Location is typical service station style with fast food takeaway and petrol station adjacent. If you are family the "one price" per room structure means always a good deal...but this time as value for one at £50 a night, and this was special "reduced" price, the hotel becomes what it is...very basic with totally no frills. Rooms are basically bare... More

At £19 I could not fault this place. Standard Travelodge room/decor, but all OK in my room. Only a very short walk into Thame, which is really pretty town with old pubs, restaurants etc. No complaints! If you want a swanky hotel, you need to pay a lot more than £19....

Stayed here as close to a friends wedding. The hotel is old and tired. No on site restaurant or bar so had breakfast at the little chef. Really wouldn't want to stay here again.

This is, actually, not a bad Travelodge compared to some and does have the advantage of being close to the pretty town of Thame which is worth a stroll into (or short car journey) The Travelodge company HQ is just across the roundabout and this hotel is tucked into the corner of a services containing a Little Chef and Burger... My Fiance and I stayed here on the weekend just gone (21st/22nd Jan) as we were in the area looking for wedding venues. The Travelodge is situated on a busy road off a roundabout with the Travelodge not very well signposted so we ended up missing the turning the first time round. The Travelodge is situated at the end of... More

We had to change one of the rooms we had booked because there was a bad smell of damp. Our room, which was cold when we arrived because the heater had not been turned on, (3c outside), although a good size, was dirty. The floor did not seem to have been vacuumed and the sofa, which converts into a bed,... More
