The Old Parsonage is owned by the company which owns Gee's and the Old Bank. They have developed three very successful businesses and we have frequented all of them. But this was our first stay in the hotel and it was disappointing. The room was good: comfortable and well appointed. But it should not be called a hotel. There is... More

Booked a superior double room for my 1st wedding anniversary. Superior apparently means on the ground floor overlooking the car park. Also seems to mean that you can't get a table for dinner either even though you are a guest. No attempt to rectify these wrongs by the staff left my wife in tears and me wishing that i'd booked... We stayed at this hotel to celebrate our anniversary. Our first impressions of the hotel was that it was very charming and cosy (being the middle of winter that was important!). The check in process was very easy and the women was friendly. First impressions of our room (superior double) were ok, to be honest it wasn't amazing for what... More

- I first discovered this place a few years ago and knew I had to stay there upon return. A wonderfully charming building with a fantastic afternoon tea service (albeit a bit pricey). - I was forewarned (via email) about the small size of the room, which was true, but it was clean and the bathroom was modern. A nice... More

I was visiting a colleague at Oxford and stayed here on his recommendation as it was close to where he was. It's not in the centre of the town, so there's a bit of a walk if you want to see the library or the high street (in which case its sister Old Bank Hotel might be a better bet).... More

I stayed in the Old Parsonage because the hotel I regularly stay in while in Oxford was already booked. I'll be adding this hotel to my list of favorites in England. If you are looking for a place to meet with colleagues or sign off on a deal, this is the place to do it at. It is charming, the... More

This is a nice hotel run by the same company who own the Old Bank in the city centre. In recent years we have stayed in both and found they offer very similar levels of quality and service. Whilst the Old Bank has better public areas, we feel the location of the Old Parsonage is second to none - perfectly... More

I came here for a quiet get-away from my hectic life and it served the purpose very well. I love Oxford and often come here to shop, get my hair done and stroll around for hours on end - there is no better place to do this! I didn't realise until after my stay that the hotel has its own... More
