The hotel was great, close to the town center. When me and my boyfriend got there we found out we had been upgraded to a deluxe room. Staff were friendly and the whole hotel was modern and clean.
Stayed at this Hotel for 1 night thankfully. This was in January 2012. I was in the city having taken my son back to University so had to stay. Upon arrival, having travelled from Kent, found that parking was a nightmare. I had to park in Portland Road next to the Hotel as the main road was all double yellow...

A big group of us stayed the weekend and found the hotel clean and tidy although the rooms are quite cramped. Full breafast, nice dinning area and lounge and very helpful staff. We were a noisy group and although we were told to quieten down it was never in a hostile way. Thank you for a nice stay. With the price,...

We stayed for a couple of nights and were quite happy with the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's not perfect but for the price it's fine. Clean and tidy, a little shabby in some areas, but nothing to worry about. Nice TV and free WiFi.
Decent setting in gardens and directly opposite the Arboretum. We walked to and...

We really enjoyed our stay in Park Hotel. I didnt expect much but was very suprised. We checked in quickly by lovely receptionist, our room on the second floor was nicely decorated , slightly on the smaller side but you cant really complain for the bargain price. Bed was comfy, tea and coffee were a bonus. Beautiful restaurant where we...

Smallest room i have ever stayed in including the squat bathroon with blocked sink. Parking consists of paying a deposit on a permit and trying to find a parking space and the surrounding streets (if you dare to leave your car). Bed was tiny, saggy and had 2 thin pillows provided. Likewise despite booking for 2 we were provided with...
