Excellent location, set in the middle of a country park but only 10 min drive from nottingham. Very grand exterior. Room was basic but had plenty of character, modern bathroom with a powerfull shower. Good breakfast with plenty of choice on the hot buffet.

I stayed in room 14 for 2 nights. The hotel itself is beautiful. At night it is silent and in the morning I woke up with birds singing. The staff was helpfull. Since one could only have dinner after 19:00 (20:00 for my biological clock) I took a bar meal. Good food for a nice price. The WiFi internet connection... More

just celebrated my daughters wedding reception at the hotel I have to say how wonderfully they looked after us. The staff were efficient and courteous and nothing was too much trouble for them. the bedrooms were clean and spacious.the breakfast was delicious.
