This is our second stay at the Tea Rooms, and again we had a comfortable night's sleep. We were welcomed with tea and scone on arrival, the room was lovely and the breakfast excellent. A great spot to visit.

A very nice reasonably priced B&B spotlessly clean lovely tea and scones on arrival and very nice breakfast. There are only 2 rooms above the tea rooms and would definitely recommend this as a nice place to stay.

Stayed here for one night but wished it had been longer. Room was very clean and of a good size overlooking the village square. The welcome and pot of tea and scone were very much appreciated. Breakfast was excellent. We will certainly return here as soon as we can, beautifull B&B and beautifull area.

Rooms are above the tea shop in Allendale. Parking is easy on the square, with 3 pubs around you. We were welcomed with a scone and tea on arrival. The double room was nicely furnished and comfortable. The wooden shutters make it easy to sleep, and there was no noise from the square, Breakfast was very good and well cooked.... More

Attending a family celebration in Allendale, we found the Tea Rooms on-line and booked as it was a 2 minute walk from the venue. Our room was immaculate and attention to detail in the cleaning and preparation of the room was evident. Hosts were friendly and breakfast delicious -excellent value for money. We will stay there again.

We received a warm welcome - including tea and a home made scone! The hosts are well used to walkers and helped us to dry our boots. I'd recommend this place, especially as there aren't many places to stay in Allendale. Graeme and Wendy are friendly and accommodating hosts, plus you get a scone and pot of tea as part of the price. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the cafe has a good selection of food on offer including several specials on the menu.
