The Coach House is a superb B&B, especially as you have your own comfortable en-suite accomadation in the converted stable in the garden. The breakfasts were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail by Carole made our stay lovely. Thoroughly recommende by 2 seasoned travellers!

We enjoyed a very comfortable two-day break at The Coach House. Carole and Fred are excellent hosts and the veggie breakfasts are just great. I don't think we've ever stayed anywhere before with such attention paid to 'the small details'. We love this area of Northumberland and hope to return before too long.

Stayed at the coach house whilst up in Durham for a wedding at Langley castle. The hayloft is a gorgeous light, airy, welcoming room. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. I would definately recommend, excellent location for Langley castle, just a 5-10min taxi ride away (<£10 pre midnight, £15 afterwards).
