Booked incorrectly so were given another room which was sold as the honeymoom suite which we later found out was not the case. Were kept awake until 1am with ridiculously loud music from a wedding....the room was hot but could not open windows due to loud music. I stayed here whilst in Northampton. The small room was cold, food stupidly expensive for what was delivered and drinks were too dear. Location was good. Car park at rear of hotel was along a very poorly kept track and was very rough, but was secure.

Stayed recently and staff friendly on the whole but breakfast waitress was miserable as hell. If you are really that unhappy at work its time to move on. Rooms not very clean and no toast for breakfast as toaster broken. Seriously guys they are £20 in Argos. Manager there couldn't do enough to help you with queries.

our friends married here 18 months ago and we had a wonderful day so were only too happy to go back and stay when a (very!!) cheap overnight deal presented itself....on chatting to the staff, yes the hotel is going into liquidation on 1st July but the staff were still fantastic, friendly and proffesional....room was clean but the whole place... Any one wanting to book a room after 1.7.13 beware as the hotel is in liquidation and will cease trading from this date. However booking. Com is still showing availability in August and will let you book. They were also taking bookings over the phone last week.
