We stayed at the bay tree in may for the races the owners were really friendly and kind rooms were really clean and tidy and the breakfast was excellent all in all a great place to stay would recommend to anyone.

We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts were very accomodating to our requirements given that we had a 15 month old with us. The locally sourced breakfast was lovely and the rooms were of a very high standard... I can't recommend this highly enough. It's just a 10 minute walk in to York too; bonus!
