Love this place, stayed here for one night, little bit more expensive to what we would normally pay but was worth it and wish we stayed for 2 nights. We got the 4 poster bed room with bath, and it was gorgeous. A very peaceful place to be. Parking at the side for free, and a nice short stroll to... More

Stayed for the weekend with 2 friends. Location of the hotel was ideal for us, 10 minutes walk from city centre, but nice and quiet location. Room was ideal. Breakfast excellent and the staff were very friendly. Very clean, but there was the occasional drain smell, but this can happen in any hotel bathroom. Would definitely return, in fact we... More

Room was not cleaned very well window was so dirty could not see out of it. On the plus side the staff were very nice the bed itself was comfortable and the breakfast... More

Stayed here for one night whilst catching up with friends. We had booked a 3 bed room (for 3 of us). Lovely girl called Charlotte greeted me and showed me to my room which was on the top floor up 3 flights of stairs. The corridors, carpets & decor are slightly worn so I was concerned for the room however... More

We wanted somewhere with parking from which we could walk into York and explore it............and we wanted somewhere lovely to stay and we got the lot. Even a noise issue created by drunk other guests was dealt with immediately with minimum fuss adn a great deal of... More

Stayed for one night and got a bargain late deal. We paid £50 for the budget double room however upgraded to a luxury room for an extra £10. The budget double was lovely but decided to try the luxury room because it was still cheap. We stayed in room 6 on the top floor which was lovely. It included a... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, room was nice and clean but then it never got cleaned again which I have never experienced before which was a real let down. Breakfast was nice and the place is only 20 mins walk away from the minster but the check out is really early at 10.30 on a Sunday. Would not recommend you... More

I booked this b&b 2 months in advance after searching for a place to stay within walking distance of York for my girlfriends 40th. I specifically requested the honeymoon suite as this was what made the hotel stand out. Upon arrival I was informed that they had no information regarding my booking and was told that I had maybe gone... More

I stayed at this hotel with my then Fiancee when she was over visiting from USA. As she had certain dietary requirements being vegan, Leslie and the rest of the staff allowed us to keep soy milk in the fridge and to have access to the kitchen. They also upgraded us to the honeymoon suite at no extra cost as... More
