Lovely rooms really nicely decorated. Bed a little soft for me but thats just a personal taste thing cant really fault them for that. Breakfast was spot on. Lounge lovely and comfortable. Really good service from that staff. Location is great easy short walk from the centre of York lovely quiet location. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely hotel in Victorian houses. It is like being a guest in a classic old English house. Excellent condition, decoration and furnishing throughout. Only 15 minutes walk from the Minster. Excellent breakfast served to your table. No lift, so it wouldn't be suitable for people who have difficulty with stairs.
