Stayed here for a long weekend. Staff were lovely and all very helpful. Stayed in the attic room which was spacious and spotlessly clean. Just about everything was on the menu for breakfast, and the quantities definately set you up for the rest of the day. Would recommend staying here if you want an individual, value for money, friendly guesthouse.

stayed here with my brother for a day at the races, although almost everywhere in York doubles or even triples the rates on race days still an affordable rate. It was a delight to stay here. The staff were super friendly and passionate about York, only too happy to give advice on local places. Wireless access was great and a treat for a traveller looking to get connected. Room was cosy, but I slept super well and it's well furnished. Breakfast was tasty and generous. I'd stay here again.
