coach trip with silver star,friday to sunday christmas shopin,good value. the queens hotel was wellsituated for York center,the staff where very nice & helpfull.We where on a BB& evening meal package ,the carvery on the saturday night was to die for. rooms were clean .everything walking distance lovely spot on the rivers edge

The staff were very welcoming and gave us a map of the city... the room overlooked the river, it was lovely. Hotel very clean and it had plenty of room. Breakfast was nice. Good value for money. We would go back.

Good location within walking distance of York Minster, the Shambles, Railway museum and the town centre. Clean, good size, quiet riverside rooms with a shower over the bath. Buffet style breakfast which was good without being exceptional. Car parking on site (flooding permitting) nice touch letting us park there until 3.00pm due to it being quiet on the Monday.
