Smartly decorated, very pleasant host, comfy bed, very clean & tidy, great breakfast. Highly recommended, within easy walking distance of the City Centre. Nice pubs nearby and also a good Indian restaurant. Even has parking!

The Foss Bank is in a very convenient location and offers parking, which is important in York. The rooms are all kept spotlessly clean and have good quality mattresses and nice views. We have stayed at Foss Bank Guest House several times and it is one of our favourite places. Kevin is always friendly and helpful, the rooms lovely and breakfast delicious. We would'nt stay anywhere else in York.
