Great quiet location only a short walk to the historic center of York. Everything was perfect, the beds comfortable, breakfast delicious, and Kevin is the perfect hosts.

Just stayed 2 nights and my wife and myself can only think of one word that describes the welcome,the rooms,the food and the hosts and that is excellent.

My family stayed for three nights in April. The rooms were bright, clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast with farm fresh eggs. Kevin was enormously helpful. He provided an excellent suggestion for a hike on the moors, Hole of Horcum. Kevin provided an ordnance map, driving directions and told us that there was a great pub en route. There was.

Lovely house, warm welcome from Kevin with refreshments on arrival. Room and en suite was spotless. Bed and bedding first rate. Great place to stay, so close to York Centre. Kevin was very wellcoming with a cup of tea ready when you arrive. Room was spotless and very well furnished, bedding was better than my own at home!!! Breakfast was great too. Can't fault the place and would definately visit again.
