Have stayed at the Ascot House on about 3 occasions and had the pleasure of staying last night. If there's a better b & b in York then it must be perfect! I have been trying to think of something that may be improved but I can't - sorry! Oh! The weather was poor!!

stayed 2 nights in this beautiful house. comfy 4 poster bed, stunning en-suite with walk in shower. choice of breakfast was excellent.it took us about 20 mins to walk to minster. will recommend to friends, will stay there again.

Stayed for one night, Friday 5th. April. We had a top floor room which was large, modern, light and airy. The standard of decoration was outstanding. The lighting in the bathroom was amazing. Owners were very friendly. Lovely breakfast, including a vegetarian option. Very good value, would certainly stay again. ( Kath & Dennis)

Had a lovely nights stay over the Easter break. The B & B is Victorian and furnished beautifully with antiques and very much in keeping with the building. Really pleasant, been well thought out. Service excellent. Our room was on the top floor, beautifully clean& freshly decorated with pleasant views over bowling green towards Minster.En suite huge & all brand new. Included breakfast, freshly cooked inc veggie& nice buffet. Very helpful with info, car parking good. Brisk 15min walk into centre.

Spent Friday & Saturday night in room 12. Very comfortable room, great bed and wonderful bathroom. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very accommodating when 4 family members joined us for breakfast. Just the place to stay if visiting York.
