Stayed one night. Vastly overpriced. Doors wedged open during breakfast (for the laundry delivery) so we were cold whilst eating. This is a great location overlooking the harbour and the Abbey. Staff friendly and efficient. Food ok. Our room was very tired, the carpet looked like it had been rescued from a skip, the mattresses were past their 'sell by' and the bathroom was very scruffy - peeling pain, black mold and gaping screw holes. The breakfasts were good.The soups were not mixed properly with lumps of powder floating in the dish. The Vegetarian meals disgusting! The vegetables not worth bothering with...... First of all I have stayed here a few times...only because its pretty cheap and good location and a car park! This means I have experienced different rooms in the hotel.
