Just stayed here for the weekend and found it perfect. Clean modern room with a bath and a good shower, the breakfast was lovely and cooked to order and the owners were friendly without being overbearing. An ideal place to stay for a weekend away.

We had a 2 night stay at Glendale and couldn't fault a thing. Very comfy bed, absolutely spotless, great breakfast that will last you all day and a great welcome from Carol and Mick. It is in a perfect location for Whitby as everything is within walking distance. Carol recommended the pub The Granby which is just round the corner.... More

We stayed here for two nights and couldn't fault it. We stayed in the family room which had plenty of space and was clean and tidy, and my two year old loved it! The owners Carole and Mick were friendly and welcoming. The full english breakfast was excelent, cooked to exactly how you want it, and Carole made sure I... More

We have just come home after a two night stay at the Glendale. Fabulous location for all Whitby attractions. All within easy walking distance. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room had a king size bed which was very comfy. All spotlessly clean. The main thing for us was the mammoth size English breakfast. Always red hot and freshly cooked and... More

Situated a 5 minute walk from the sea and easy 10-15 minure walk into the centre of town Glendale is a lovely terrace B&B. Upon arrival we were kindly upgraded to a deluxe room on the top floor which was a very good size, had a good size bathroom also and a lovely view of the abbey over the roof... More

Stayed at the Glendale for two nights, was a lovely room with a nice view and was very clean. The staff were great and were helpful when talking about things to do in the area and the breakfast was excellent. It is in a great location as we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do.

Stayed at the Glendale for one night and could not fault it. The entire premises are spotlessly clean and are credit to the proprietors. The bed must be one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in and I have slept in a few... The room, room 2, was at the rear of the property, was more than suitable... More

I stayed at the Glendale at the end of October. Lovely clean room. Comfy bed and pillows. Brilliant breakfast. A credit to the owners. Ideal location for shops or a walk along sea front. I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Looking forward to booking again.
