My wife and I stayed for her birthday and we were impressed with everything from the food to the comfort of the room. Whitby is a lovely town and this guest house offered loads of infomrtaion about the town. Ideally loacted for a short 10 minute walk to the restaraunts and pubs. We highly recommend the Melrose. We really enjoyed our two-night stay here. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We had to bring our own travel cot but our three-month-old daughter was as warmly welcomed as we were. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay, and we'd highly recommend it to others. We'll definitely be back. More
