Very friendly hosts for the duration of our stay, nothing was too much trouble very accommodating. Room was outstanding and newly refurbished to a very high standard. Bathroom was spotless with an outstanding shower. Breakfast was excellent. Would recommend to anyone thinking of staying in Whitby , we will definately be staying again on future visits. More

We have stayed in room 3 before at Broomfield House and were really happy with it. Last saturday I called the owners to see if it was free for the night but it was already reserved and they offered us room 5 saying it had just been refurbished. This is a lovely double room with comfortable settee and armchair on... More

Just returned from short break at Broomfield House. What more could anyone ask, this is a lovely guesthouse. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts are excellent. Just a very short stroll into the town. No parking directly outside, but with a little patience easy enough to find somewhere very close by.It was Goth weekend whilst we were... More

A good, friendly B&B, perfect for our short break. The parking was less of a problem than we'd anticipated, and the proprietor/trix were very helpful in suggesting good, safe places nearby (one of which was at the beginning of the cycle trail to Ravenscar - very handy!). A matter of a couple of minutes from the station, five minutes to... More

We stayed for a weekend break in October. The location was good - overlooking Pannet Park on one of the main streets leading into town and just a few minutes walk into Whitby centre. There was no parking in front of the Guest House, but this looks like the norm, and we found a parking space a few minutes walk... More

This is a reasonable hotel/ guest house. The directions given were a little unclear so we had to make a few swoops before we found it (essentially if you come from the moors road you head into tow and reach a point where you can not go ahead and have to go right. THen you need to go right again... More

We do not usually respond to reviews, as we like to check with customers when they leave if everything was ok; however we felt that this one contain many inaccuracies and we did feel it was a little unfair. First we would like to say we are sorry that you did not seem to enjoy your stay with us. We... More

Stayed a couple of nights in September 2011. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, friendly service, well placed for town centre, everything you'd expect from this type of B&B. Only downside is lack of onsite parking, had to street-park car a few minutes away - although I suspect that's not unusual for Whitby. More

Booked through late room. and not disappointed. Jo met me and took our case up three flights of stairs to room 6, while my husband parked the car 2 minutes away, room compact but with lots of lovely little touches, towels brilliant white and thick, tea and coffee making facilities, small cooler fridge, TV with Free-sat, hair dryer, iron and...
