Travel lodge style accomodation ok nothing special ideal for traveling businessmen - large site so could be long way from large car park! Plus side = Excellent sports centre and spa attached, Very near main road on outskirts of Middlesborough, Good restaurant and bar attached serving run of the mill pleasant 'bar' meals. Would stay again! More

Dirty rooms - moved the chair from the corner of the room to the dressing table only to find a pair of crumpled underpants staring at me.Threadbare carpets. In desperate need of an overhaul . The bridal suite has been done as cheaply as possible, and would be dissapointed if I had paid thousands to get married there. One word... More

This hotel is very well placed off the A19 just south of Middlesbrough. It is surrounded by countryside yet only mins from the city centre by car.We have stayed here several times and it would be true to say there are differing qualities of room but all surpassed our minmum standard comfortably. The indoor swimming pool and gym are very handy and... Stayed for two nights on business as colleague likes the Gym, never again. The hotel rooms and carpet are very shabby, did not sleep at all first night due to drone of generators coming from the resaturant area, and had to change room for second night. Restaurant and Bar are pricey. Breakfast quality not very good at all. Lots of... More

Recently stayed for 1 night on business. My room was an executive double and did look like it has recently undergone a refurb. Modern, but basic furniture. However the room was clean and comfortable for my short stay. Free wifi but it didn't work. Good access to a19 north or south. The building itself felt like an old prison or... More

We stayed for one night after travelling to watch a game at the riverside stadium .Location wise it was brilliant ,just a 10 min drive to the stadium.Staff were very pleasant on check in / out and the bar area is fine .Thought the food was very pricey though . As we walked down the corridor to our room we... More

One of the most depressing hotels I have ever stayed in. Tired, dated and in need of renovation or demolition. The room furniture appears poor quality 1980s, much of the hotel (including rooms) are uncomfortably over-heated like a sauna and the room carpet had masking tape employed to cover holes. There is no mini bar and breakfast is bland at... More
