For the price, we didn't expect a 6-star hotel, but The Rockwell suited our purposes in terms of price and location. Rooms and bathrooms have all been modernised; it would be nice to see them use duvets instead of the 'woolen blanket between 2 loose sheets' arrangement. Staff were very nice (Eastern European) and accommodating.

Thank you for your review- as you have pointed out we are not a six star hotel and that is reflected in the price. We have sheets instead of duvets, which one you prefer is a question of individual taste. Thanks, Fred More

This comfortable property was originally 2 terrace house that have been converted into a sylish boutique hotel. Our room was spacious, spotless and well appointed. We also found it to be surprisingly quiet considering it's located on a major thouroughfare. It is conveniently located within easy walking distance of Earls Court station, as well as many attractions and amenities. Another... More

Nice room and no traffic noise, despite being on a busy road. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location of hotel was good for our visit to Albert Hall and there are plenty of other amenities close by. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been appreciated.

This was my first time at this hotel and I thought it was a very good choice. Not only was it relatively cheap, it was well located with excellent access to almost everywhere in London via Earls Court underground station. The room was the stand out feature for me. My deluxe double was very large for a boutique style property.... More

Nice large clean room, decent bed, a short walk from Earl’s Court underground. Some nice extra’s: complementary bottled water, turn down service and a patio garden. Bit mixed feelings about the staff. Given the price this is a decent choice for a 4*. However after reading the reviews here and the hotel’s website I got different expectations. The internet is... I usually stay in hotels closer to Gloucester Rd tube station, but this gem, although ten minute walk from the tube, is super! The food is gorgeous, which can't be said for most London hotels in the price-range and my room, LG 1 was perfect. I thought being on Lower Ground would mean dark and dingy but far from it!... More

Very well located, close to the tube and very well connected with the buses, clean, with the best in-room amenities. The rooms are nice, choose a double one if you can for more space. Complimentary WiFi Internet connection available in the room and a DAB alarm dock station. The breakfast was very good and not over estimated. Very good choice... More

The Rockwell is a great hotel for business and tourism, it's reasonable, excellent location and very smoothly run. The rooms have everything you might need and more from 'White Company' toiletries, to bottled water and bath robes, oh and extra blankets, which is good as my room was cool, you can control heating - however it is quite noisy. Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for pointing out that our heating system works well. It is simply a case of adjusting the settings, which are situated by the door. At 25C+ they heat the room very well, which is perfect for some of the cold nights we have had recently. Regards,... Having read other very positive reviews we were disappointed. its true - the decor is chic with very restful and pleasant communal areas. Continental breakfast was a highlight with fresh fruit salad, juices, croissants, fresh crusty bread, a range of cold meats and cheeses, preserves, cereals and toast. There were a number of irritations which marred our stay however. In... More
