The staff, particularly the owner, Mrs Gupta, were incredibly hostile, rude and unpleasant. In fact Mrs Gupta's behaviour verged on aggressive. I have never been treated so badly by any member of 'customer service' staff in my life. Not the family-friendly, family-run hotel that was advertised. Stayed for one night on business. Extremely convenient location only a couple of minutes from Paddington tube. Comfortable room and good value, though bathroom tiny. Very helpful staff when I left something in my room after checking out. One drawback for some - no lift and steep stairs so not really suitable for old or disabled. More
