I wouldn't go as far as some people in dissing this place. It's a cheap, not-particularly-well-run place in a not-so-nice part of town, but it's not that bad! the people were quite nice and the beer was cold. I won't be back though! More

Located in a scene from crimewatch, Bedlam would have been preferable. Words cannot express the Dickensian squalor and' penny a pint gin'-orientated grimness that haunts this place. 15 people on 1 floor sharing 1 bathroom. U do the math! It's horrendous. I wouldn't recommend this to the council, who search for places for the homeless. Plus the area surrounding the pub is like the Bronx in the 80's. I expect my vehicle to be tagged, but even this area is too rough for banksy! More
