We stayed here for one night in February, we were a group of four and being team leader I was able to choose third floor room, the other two got a basement room and did not sleep a wink all night! Its a bit like a rabbit warren and we had three attempts in getting the key card to work,...

I took the advice on this site not to geta room in the basement and not facing the street. So I asked and was given a great room which was large, had a super king bed and felt luxurious with a big bathroom and was quiet. Pillows thicker than I'm used to tho (but that's prob just me).
The road...

I stayed here as I had managed to book the wrong Lancaster hotel (not the one at Lancaster gate) and then got "upgraded" from the Lancaster opposite. The room was ok although not ideal being in the basement, but the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was big (if a bit cold due to a lot of tiling in the room)...

I stayed for one night in this superbly located townhouse hotel.
The hotel is part of a chain which own a number of properties in the bloomsbury area of London City and are all priced similarly if not the same per night. The hotel is very clean and benefits from an excellent wifi system ( extra charge ) and in...

We stayed here recently and found it to be very good, the room was large and clean, the service friendly and prompt. The location is also good if you want Covent garden and the British museum etc.
I'd give it 5 stars, except I thought it wasn't right for them to be charging for Internet, I know a lot of...

We had actually booked for another Grange hotel, the Lancaster, but on arrival we were told we had been upgraded to the Clarendon across the road. We had arrived early, around 11am and our room was available for us which was nice. The room was very well decorated (apart from some slight water stains on the ceiling with an enormous...

Rooms are small and noisy. A party next door until 4 am prevented any sleep; the house was not helpful in quieting the noise or offering a quieter room. Also be aware there is construction across the street during the day.

Extremely warm when we walked into reception and hoped that the bedroom would not be the same! I had read previous reviews and when they said our room was in the basement I asked to be on an upper floor. This was no problem and we were given a double room on the third floor at the front. The reception...

My wife and I stayed here for one night in their superior double room.
These rooms are in the basement, windows onto the area where the bins are stored. The reception area above has a stone floor which means that in the bedrooms below we could hear every click of every heel on the floor above.
We asked to move...
