Very basic accommodation, highly priced due to its location near King's Cross. The environment is noisy: tube train line passing underneath the hotel and busy road nearby with bus traffic all night long. The rooms in the basements are the quieter in the building, but don't expect a silencious night.

I've got you a good room I was told at reception. But the lift went to the 4th floor and the room was on the 5th! 2 decent sized bags, mmmm.... Walls, doors, tatty. Very little positive to say about this place. Noisy+++. Whole building shakes as tubes and trains pass underneath (until at least 00:30 am). Grubby (e.g. filthy kettle that you would not risk drinking out of). Travelodges are basic at the best on times. This one is foul and to be avoided unless you are desperate.

During stay 2 guests who were staying let several very drunk ( non guest) revellers to enter & cause trouble. After 3 hours of very noisy activities they were evicted by security. No sleep for those on the 3rd and 4th floors. I would not recommend this hotel for a safe stay...
